There will be six gold medals for Esports that will be awarded and split across three gaming platforms. Two for console, two for PC and two for mobile gaming.
So far, only Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has been confirmed as one of the esports titles included. Other titles are expected to be finalised by 15th December. According to the committee, the chosen games will have to adhere to the values of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and "should not promote the culture of violence and gambling."

No direct invites for established Esports athletes will be handed out, in fact, athletes from each participating country will be chosen through qualifying tournaments instead.
