Malaysia's very own squash queen, Nicol David, has been voted as the Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) by squash fans all over the world! According to the Professional Squash Association (PSA), the 35-year-old beat New Zealand legend Susan Devoy and 16-time British Open winner Heather McKay for the honour.
The Penang-born holds the record for the longest reigning world number one title in squash history for 109 consecutive months from 2006 to 2015. Nicol is also the first player of either gender to win the World Junior title twice!
Over the course of her career, the squash queen has won eight world titles and 81 PSA championships as well as multiple successes at the World Games, Commonwealth Games and Asian Games. Most recently, Nicol added one gold and one bronze to her impressive collection of Asian Games medals!
