UPDATE: Sree Abiraame has now won two more gold medals in the tournament, bringing her total to five gold medals!
Some of us can barely balance on ice skates, but seven-year-old, C. Sree Abiraame, not only ice skates, she figure skates! And to top that all off, she’s a triple gold medal winning figure skater!
At the recent Middle East 4th Official ISI International Figure Skating tournament, Sree Abiraame nabbed not just one, but three gold medals!

Hailing from Selangor, Sree Abiraame won big at the tournament that took place on Thursday and Friday in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The seven-year-old took first place in the girl’s 7-8 years category Freestyle final with a perfect 5.0 points! UAE skater, Emirati Norin Angel came in second with 4.0 points.

Sree Abiraame then continued her impressive routine that earned her another gold in the Solo Camp Freestlye event with another 5.0 points score!
And finally, Sree Abiraame earned first place in the girl’s 7-8 years Speed Skating event that took place on Thursday, rounding up her win to three gold medals in the international tournament!

The young figure skater will continue to compete in the Artistic Freestyle and Footwork 1 events on the last day of the tournament.

Her father, B. Chendren, hoped that “all Malaysians will pray that Sree succeeds in the subsequent two events.”
