It’s another GOLD for Malaysia at the 2019 SEA Games!
Olympian, Julian Yee took home the country’s fourth gold medal and retained his SEA Games men’s figure skating position!
The figure skater performed a rock and roll skate routine filled with magnificent spins, jumps and tricks that impressed the judges and allowed him to come up on top!
In the short program, the 22-year-old took the lead and gained 63.4 points. And followed by that, Julian outperformed his opponents and finished with a score of 139.27 in the free skating event, for a total of 202.62 points.

The 2019 SEA Games are currently ongoing in the Philippines and we’ve been supporting #TeamMAS all the way!
Now, we’ve got more reasons to be proud and celebrate the team because Malaysia has now bagged two gold medals!

Our own Loh Choon How took home Malaysia’s first gold medal in the men’s Wushu’s Taolu Taijiquan event.
The 26-year-old bagged the gold medal with a score of 9.680 ahead of Brunei’s Hosea Zhen, who scored 9.590, and Philippines’ Daniel Parantac who scored 9.560.

The country’s second gold medal came from breakdancer Sam Jee Lek, who came out tops in the men’s breakdance competition with the maximum 12 points.
Vietnam’s Le Huu Phuoc came in second for the silver medal and Singapore’s Sim Eng Kiat came in third, taking home the bronze medal.

Now, the national polo team have taken home the third gold medal!
Amran Selamat, Tengku A. Shazril Ezzani Tengku Sulaiman, Rashi Hasnan and Syed Ahmad Saipulrudin Sayed Mohd defended their title and defeated the host country 7-5.5 at the Inigo Zobel Polo Facility in Batangas.
