Technology is so canggih these days that the super cool zoom-to-enhance camera we see on CSI now actually exists! It’s called the Nest Cam IQ home security camera, and looks like the iconic Pixar lamp. You may even mistake it for Wall-E’s adorable Eve robot!

Now, the most integral part of this gadget is the Nest Cam IQ’s intelligence. It comes with a “Person Alerts” feature that can detect when there’s a person in the camera’s field of view, and notifies the owner.

It also has a feature called “Supersight”, which is a picture-in-picture view showing a tracking shot of a person in the field of view, windowed inside the larger 130-degree angle.

Another smart feature of this camera is the “Family Face Alerts”, which uses facial detection to identify faces you’ve selectively added to your ‘nest’. An unrecognised face could potentially mean that an intruder is within your personal compounds.
