Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram, announced the good news for users on social media today, and we can almost hear the sound of rejoicing all over.

If you want to enable the dark mode on your phones, unfortunately it’s not as simple as touching a button just yet, the mode follows your phone’s theme.
First off, you have to be using iOS 13 or Android 10 before you can activate the app’s dark mode.
When you’ve done that, simply turn on your phone’s dark mode in the “Settings.”
To make it even more simpler, you can just ask Siri or Google to enable or disable dark mode.
Head back to the app and voila! The dark mode should be activated if you’ve followed all the steps!
