Instagram has been around since 2010 and naturally, it has been through many changes and updates. As with Instagram, we too have changed and evolved with each passing day and so, our sense of style and posting may have also changed.
With that in mind, have you ever thought about how it would be to be able customise your Instagram grid and rearrange the posts you’ve published so far? Well, you just might be able to do that very soon!

According to leaker and reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi, the photo-sharing app is reportedly testing a new option that lets users customise their profile photo grid and formatting previously posted images into any order of their choice.
The new ‘Edit Grid’ option will be displayed in your profile settings, letting you customise your profile gallery as you choose, regardless of when each post was posted.
This new feature could be especially helpful for brands, business accounts, and personal bloggers...or just Instagrammers in general that would like to put specific focus on their posts for viewers to see.
As interesting as it may sound, no official announcement has been made on whether Instagram is planning to make the feature available to everyone.
However, given that the head of Instagram Adam Mosseri, confirmed back in December that they are bringing back the chronological feed, it's not impossible that the company will launch the customize-your-photo-grid feature for everyone
Andrew also recently pointed out a possible ‘pinned post’ option for profiles, which would enable users to select certain posts that they want to showcase at the top of their grid. However, again, nothing has been confirmed by the company.
What do you think of the new possible Instagram features? Would you prefer using the old one or...try something new? Let us know!
