Another long weekend is upon us as the Aidiladha festivities draws closer! But before you begin your travels, you might want to top up your Touch ‘n Go card…

In a statement released by PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS), drivers have been advised to top up their cards early before this weekend as no top up services will be available at all tolls.
The statement also noted that the system’s e-Wallet PayDirect will also be unavailable during this period.

PLUS is expecting a 20% increase in traffic from the 1.7 million vehicles on normal days, during the periods of 9th – 12th August and 17th -18th August.
As the traffic increases, PLUS will once again be closing it’s “tambah nilai” tolls to help ease the flow of traffic.
If you do need to top up your card, the statement also notes that there are about 10,000 Touch ‘n Go top-up card centre nationwide that includes ATMs, R&R petrol stations, supermarkets, and self-service kiosks.
