You’ve probably heard it time and time again, don’t use your phone while it charges and don’t leave it to charge on your bed.
We’ve heard many cases of phone’s exploding and hurting someone but this time, a charging phone has taken the life of a 14-year-old Kazakhstani schoolgirl.
The young girl passed away in her sleep after her phone that was charging next to her head exploded.
Alua Asetkyzy Abzalbek had been listening to music on her phone when she drifted off to sleep with her phone plugged in.
Unfortunately, the phone overheated in the night and exploded on her pillow while she slept.

The Daily Mail reported that the 14-year-old was left with severe head injuries and is believed to have passed away immediately after the explosion.
Relatives who contacted paramedics immediately once they discovered the incident were unfortunately too late to save the girl. Alua was pronounced dead on the spot.

According to local reports, forensic experts confirmed that the mobile phone had exploded in the early morning after overheating as it charged.
