Living in Malaysia, people who are 6ft and more may seem like giants to us sometimes but this 17-year-old teen will definitely seem like a giant to all especially with her record-breaking long legs!

Maci Currin from Texas, USA, stands at 6ft10 and has officially broken, not one, but two Guinness World Records with her incredibly long legs.
The teen - who comes from a relatively tall family, noticed from a young age that she was taller than her peers, and rather than having one rapid growth spurt, Maci found herself growing 10-13cm a year! This meant that she was consistently getting taller throughout her youth!
And in case you were wondering, the 17-year-old’s left leg measures in at 135.267cm and her right leg measures 134.3cm!
Maci’s incredible legs make up 60% of her total height and has earned her the Guinness World Record for longest female legs and longest legs on a teenager.
The teen has been bullied in the past for her height but she learned to stop caring about what people thought about her and to be proud of show she is. She decided to after a Guinness World Record to inspire tall people everywhere to embrace their height.
“I’ve always been so proud of Maci, she’s always taken to her height very well, she was never one of those kids that scrunched over or leaned over and tried to height,” Maci’s mum Trish said commending her daughter’s self-confidence.
“I’m very proud of her and excited for her to be recognized for her height and for her beauty,” she continued. “She’s going to realise more and more how the fact that she is taller is going to benefit her more. I always encourage her to be proud of what she has.”

But being the teen with the longest legs in the world doesn’t come without its challenges. Because of her unique height, Trish admitted that they have to “really plan ahead” for special occasions as the teen has to have clothes custom made.
“If I walk into a regular store, nothing will fit me because they con’t really make clothes in my size,” Maci said.
“My sweatshirts and hoodies are all… one is like an XXL so that the sleeves are long enough because if I get them in a medium then the sleeves are too short,” she added.
Maci also admitted to bumping her head “on a lot of stuff” because of her height, her longs legs can make simple things like getting into certain cars more difficult.
However, the 17-year-old sees being tall as a “gift” and wants to help other women feel the same, saying, “You should really embrace it.”
