We live in a world full of content from ever-growing social media platforms.
From dance challenges to eating challenges to ice bucket challenges, we see more and more videos everyday but unfortunately we will not be seeing more from one content creator.
Vlogger Sun Yixuan, who was known for his unhealthy mukbang challenges, has passed away at the age of 19.

The vlogger who had almost 500,000 followers on Chinese video-sharing app Kuaishou, reportedly passed away after suffering a cerebral haemorrhage.
Known for his video of himself binge-eating large amounts of food, Yixuan had a very over-the-top behaviour with a good sense of humour that was loved by his fans.
He often consumed huge amounts of high carbohydrate, high-calorie, oily and fatty foods for his videos and many are speculating that this diet may have contributed to his death.

There has yet to be any official cause of death besides a cerebral hemorrhage.
After noticing that Yixuan’s page had been quiet for over a week, his fans and friends were sad and shocked to hear about his sudden passing.
“I don’t dare to believe this, I watch his videos very often, how could he pass away so suddenly?” one fan wrote. “The world has lost a bit of sadness,” another wrote.
One fan in disbelief said, “I really hope someone will come forward to refute the rumours.”
“Besides wishing for wealth in 2021, we should also wish for good health,” another fan adviced.

While it hasn’t been confirmed that Yinxuan’s unhealthy diet contributed to his death but we should all take this as a reminder to be conscious of our health.
Besides protecting yourself and those around you from the Covid-19 virus, you should also take care of your physical and mental health – even while staying home.
Rest in peace Yi Xuan. Our thoughts are with his loved ones.
