When you’re in a car, sometimes you see disgusting behaviours on the road. One we’d like to talk about is the people who deem it acceptable to throw out rubbish from their vehicles.
Lately, there’ve been quite a few stories about people who have been fined for littering from their cars or others who have been taught a lesson by other drivers.
And this one-year-old boy from China is one of those who’ll make you ashamed about littering from your car.

Sun Jiarui is a toddler who lives in the city of Jining in eastern China’s Shandong Province. He was out for a walk with his mother when an incredible situation occurred.
The toddler had seen a man throwing out a plastic bottle through his car window, and assuming that the man had not intended to do so, he ran up to the bottle, picked it up and handed it back to the driver.

According to his mother – who recorded the video by chance while walking in their industrial complex; it was likely that the one-year-old had thought that the driver had accidentally dropped the bottle and was trying to help.
Our hearts are melting at the little boy’s gesture.
His act of kindness went viral with many praising the child and shaming the driver and other like him for littering.
His mother, Jing Lulu also said that Jiarui is a “polite and curious child and always respects the elderly.”
“That day, he probably thought the bottle had fallen from the car by accident,” she said. “He is a very simple child. If he sees other people drop stuff, he always helps to pick up.”
“He is only one year and three months old and probably doesn’t have a strong sense of environmental protection, but his action taught the driver a lesson,” his mother added.
After returning the bottle, the toddler ran back to his mother and the driver ended up winding up his window without saying anything.

Shame on the driver! Hopefully this one-year-old boy teaches everyone a lesson in littering. If he knows better, others should too.
What are your thoughts on this boy’s actions? Let us know!
