Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that the traveling rules under MCO will be relaxed and more than two individuals will be allowed in one car depending on the seating capacity. The public will also be allowed to dine-in at restaurants based on the size of the table with one meter social distancing in all MCO, CMCO, and RMCO areas. The relaxed rules will be effective starting 19 February (Friday). “Akad nikah” in MCO, CMCO and RMCO areas will also be allowed in religious offices and mosques with attendance limited to 20 or 50 individuals - according to area of permit respectively with one meter social distancing. 463 have been detained for violating MCO rules on 17 February (Wednesday).
