From who is dating who to what our neighbours ate two weeks ago, Malaysians are very in the know because we’re a very curious bunch and we always have time for some hot gossip. Okay lah, we’re just kaypoh, okay?

We all have that one parent that’s feisty and isn’t afraid to turn up the heat on us when we misbehave. Actually, even when we’re at our best behaviour, they’ll still show us who’s boss. But it’s all good as it helps us build character and learn to respect our elders. Your wish is our command, mummy.
#4 He’s a bro, she’s a bro, everyone’s a bro!

It’s not just the weather that’s super warm in our beautiful country, but the hospitality as well! No matter where you go or who you meet, you can be at ease and just call everyone ‘bro’! Not only does that help us grow closer to each other, but it’s also super convenient when you absolutely cannot remember someone’s name.
#5 A little bit of cili padi everywhere

This spicy chili pepper doesn’t just belong in the food we eat. We also use it to describe someone who’s full of energy and spunk. AND as a show of how much we love the heat that it gives, we even name mobile Internet plans after it!
