Let’s get real here: life is busy. If you’re a student, there are classes, assignments, more assignments, and exams to study for. And if you’re working, your job takes up a bulk of your time.
It doesn’t help that there’s all these social pressures to make your life look better, even though you’re just 99% stressed out most of the time.
Before you go #FML, let’s take a look at some ways you can free yourself from this vicious cycle:
#1 Express yourself freely
Have you been bottling your feelings and opinions inside just to please other people? Has it been eating you up inside, making you feel unworthy? It may be hard at first, but you’ve gotta be braver about things you want. You deserve to be happy, and expressing your thoughts is an important step.
#2 Stop procrastinating and start getting things done
Make a to-do list of the things you’ve been procrastinating over. You’ll feel satisfied when you cross them off. Have you been putting off cleaning your room, and now you’re living in a mess? Are your bills overdue? Do you owe someone money? Get all those things done now!
#3 Move your body
We’re not asking you to turn into a gym rat. Doing small things like stretching, climbing the stairs, and taking walks for 30 minutes is enough to help your body feel so much better! You’ll also feel like you have more control over your life and be able to focus better in your tasks.
#4 Spend less time with negative people and more with positive ones
If the people you’re hanging out with are constantly complaining and bringing you down, it’s time to find people who’ll lift you up instead. Life is too short to deal with negative vibes all the time! You wanna be better people and have a good time, not be that meh friend nobody likes.
#5 Stay connected with your loved ones
There are times when you forget to keep in touch with your friends and family when you’re busy. Give them a call, or at the very least, WhatsApp them to say hello and ask them how they’re doing.
It gets a little lonely when you’re swamped with work, so it’s good to be assured that your loved ones have your back.
#6 Switch to new experiences
Freedom is constantly making time to try new experiences so that you get a refreshing perspective in life. It can be anything—whether it’s trying out a new hairstyle, driving on a scenic route home, cooking new food or switching to a new gadget.
Speaking of gadgets, you can also enjoy the freedom to switch to the latest smartphones all year long with Digi Phone Freedom 365.
