SPM students in Malaysia recently went back to school to take their examinations and on the last day of examinations, some decided to celebrate… the wrong way.
63 SPM candidates were fined today for “celebrating” their final exam day in an out of control fashion, on the road.
Most of the 18-year-old students were issued summons for celebrating on the roads of Jalan Pantai Puteri and Dataran Klebang as they celebrated their “freedom”.
As many as 92 summons were issued for multiple offences, with 21 cases involving the failure to display their P and L license and 17 for incomplete accessories and 6 modified exhaust.
The police also compounded 14 motorcycle in the operation.
Other offences includes modifying their vehicle, failure to wear helmet and no registration number, no insurance and more.
Some of the cases also involve motorcycle riders below the age 16 and 17.
Their parents were called to the station to bail them out.
A similar incident reportedly happened back in 2019 and the officers in charge were making their rounds in the area before spotting the students.
How did you celebrate your last day of SPM (hopefully in a safe manner)? Let us know your thoughts on the matter!
