#1 Shorts and slippers? No problem!

As kids growing up watching American movies, we have to admit that we were really jealous that students in America got to wear whatever they wanted to school.
Now in college, we’re finally allowed to be whoever we want to be fashion wise. Be it the smart, preppy look, or the selekeh shorts with slippers, everybody is accepted for what they’re most comfortable in.
P.S. We highly recommend dressing up for your graduation, don’t be like that guy in the picture lah.
#2 Perhaps never having to walk anywhere ever again

By the time you’re in college, you’re probably old enough to look after yourself, which means your parents are more likely to trust you with going places on your own and finally abolishing your curfew.
Also, you’re probably old enough to drive! Being allowed to stay out late and being able to drive inevitably equals night time yum cha at the mamak! Fun times.

We’re not saying everything we’ve studied in primary and secondary school is a waste, but let’s be honest, not everything was interesting. And, as many will tell you, it’s hard to put in the effort to excel at something you don’t enjoy.
