It’s not easy being misunderstood, especially when your friends can’t seem to get you. But your personality could mean there’s a talent buried deep inside of you waiting to come out. You could be on your way towards an Engineering career.
In other words, you could be Iron Man!
Okay, let’s not go that far—but you’ve gotta admit, engineers are cool. They don’t only fix or build cars—they also think of ways to make our cities better by building sewage systems, bridges, and more!
Let’s take a look at some of these ‘misunderstood’ traits that could mean you should be an Engineer:
#1 You’re a girl in a dress who doesn’t mind getting dirty to tinker with anything mechanical
#2 Your fashion sense is so extra because you could be on your way towards creating a solar-powered outfit
#3 You take a long time with your decisions because you need a pros and cons list—preferably colour coded

#4 You remember complex computer and car parts but you don’t remember the name of the person you went out on a date with a few days ago
#5 When your friends and family break something in their house, they always ask you to do the fixing
#6 You’re watching an action movie but instead of enjoying it, you’re busy trying to figure out the physics and logic behind the stunts
#7 Everyone around you is talking about you’re staring into space trying to figure out ways to changing the world—because Engineering is all about improving lives
Like any other Engineer, you’ve gotta study for it first (Tony Stark has 3 PHDs!). If you’re in the midst of deciding where to study Engineering, then consider applying for Multimedia University.
It’s got a solid reputation, having listed in the Top 200 QS World University Rankings in Electrical and Electronic Engineering for three consecutive years (2015-2017). The course also preps you for a career where you’ll be making real and lasting impact as an engineer!
