If you’re like us and a big BTS fan, you’d probably would have been one of the first to get your hands on the new BTS nugget meal.
One nugget however has been making waves for resembling an Among Us crew member and at the time of writing, it’s currently being auctioned off with the highest bid standing at $99,796 (RM411,444)!

Since it was first introduced, the BTS meal has exploded all over the internet with fans rushing to be a part of the special promotion.
All over the internet, some have even been making money by re-selling the meal’s packaging with the K-pop group’s mark on it.
One fan however encountered an even rarer sight in the BTS meal, a chicken nugget in the shape of an Among Us crew member that’s now being auctioned off on eBay.

For those who are unfamiliar, Among Us is a popular, space-themed multiplayer game where players run around completing tasks as Crewmates while they try to figure out who the Imposter is.
When eBay seller Polizna came across the unusual looking nugget, the seller decided to auction it off in hopes to make some money out of it.
What the seller didn’t realise however, was that there were many people who clearly have a lot of money to spare, that were willing to pay for the special BTS chicken nugget.
With only 16 hours left to bid, the nugget has received 182 bids and is currently standing at the high price of $99,796 (RM411,444)!
According to the seller, the nugget will be frozen and air-sealed to ensure freshness before being shipped off to the highest bidder.
Speaking to CNET, Polizna aka Taz, shared that this particular Among Us nugget was not the first of its kind of the bidding site, however, its relation to BTS ensured that it became one of the most popular.
“I had figured it would get somewhere around $50 but nothing like this, at the end of the day there are some people out there who *would* pay some absurd price for a chicken nugget, but I don’t think the final bidder will actually go through with the purchase as there are lots of people who bid on things like this for the ‘memes’,” the seller said.
“I have no expectation for any amount of cash and whatever ends up happening, I’m just glad I got to be part of it and I’ve received messages from people saying that they got a good laugh so that alone was worth it.”

We’re still in a little bit of shock that there are some people who are willing to fork out over RM411k for a nugget, but to each their own... You can find out more about the rare nugget here.
We could probably get more than 400,000 nuggets for that amount and tbh, we’d rather take more nuggets and play Amoung Us with BTS in the background while we enjoy them!
