For those of you who have experienced living in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, be it through the pages written by J.K. Rowling or the movies, we know that we will never forget the boy who lived.
Reading the books, we’re sure you’ve had some version of Harry Potter’s voice guiding you through the pages and we don’t know about you, but after the movies, that voice began to sound a lot like Daniel Radcliffe’s – who of course took on the iconic role of Harry Potter.
Now, these two worlds have collided in the best way as the Wizarding World has gotten the actor to lend his voice to the story.

With so many people around the world staying at home to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, the official Wizarding World website decided to ask their friends to read all seventeen chapters of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone to keep us entertained.
Each week, “some of the best-loved faces from global entertainment, music and sport” will lend their voices to a chapter of the book that is so beloved around the world, by recording videos of themselves reading.
And who better to kick things off than the actor who brought Harry Potter to life?!

Daniel is the first of a long list of impressive names who will narrate all 17 chapters of the first Harry Potter book.
Each chapter with a new voice will be released weekly on the Wizarding World website as part of their Harry Potter At Home initiative.
Besides Daniel, the website has revealed a few more familiar names that will get you just as excited.
“Daniel Radcliffe, Stephen Fry, David Beckham, Dakota Fanning, Claudia Kim, Noma Dumezweni, and Eddie Redmayne are amongst the cast of narrators, with more suprises and special appearances from across the Wizarding World and beyond to come,” the website reads.

“Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were porud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much,” Daniel begins reading and sends chills down our spine.
If you’re a Potterhead, Harry Potter reading Harry Potter is definitely a dream that you don’t need Felix Felicis for.

We’re excited for the weeks to come as each chapter is revealed but for now, we’ll just keep replaying Daniel’s reading over and over again!
