There have been many cases of exes getting revenge on their partners but unfortunately, one ex-girlfriend went too far and sadly caused the death of a delivery rider’s son in the process.

The Indonesian police recently identified and arrested a woman who had sent a delivery of poisoned satay with the intention to end the life of her ex-boyfriend, Tomy.
According to the Director of General Criminal Investigation for the police department in Bantul, Yogyakarta, Burkan Rudi Satria, 25-year-old Nani Aprilliani had sent chicken satay laced with cyanide to her former partner through a delivery service.
After buying the satay and lacing it with the poison, Nani approached a delivery rider named Bandiman who was resting at Jalan Gayam and asked him to send the food to her ex, Tomy’s, home in Bantul.
She had not used any official app to make the delivery and did not disclose her real identity.

Upon arriving at Tomy’s residence, Tomy’s wife refused to accept the food delivery from Bandiman as she had no idea who the sender was.
She in turn told the delivery rider to take home the chicken satay to buka puasa with his family.
Unfortunately, after consuming the satay, Bandiman’s son Naba Faiz Prasetya ended up vomiting and though he was immediately taken to the hospital, the 10-year-old passed away during treatment.

Based on the police investigation, the director shared that the motive for Nani’s actions was revenge as Tomy had married someone else.
Nani now faces the death sentence if she is found guilty for her crime.

We understand that when someone breaks your heart, you’d do anything to feel better. Nani’s actions however, should not be followed in any way and now, she faces the death sentence for her vengeful act.
A broken heart should never result in the death of another.
On another note, always be wary of unknown deliveries and don’t just accept food without knowing where it has come from.
