Taylor Swift just released the music video for her song “Delicate”, and that means more Easter eggs!
Here are 5 Easter eggs that you might have missed in the music video!
# Snake Ring
Snakes are now a part of Taylor’s identity, and she’s seen wearing a snake ring on her ring finger.
# Hotel Delicat
In one of Taylor’s dancing scenes, the name of the hotel–Hotel Delicat–was shown in the background. Delicat means delicate in French.
# Track 5
The graffiti word “Track 5” was seen in the scene where Taylor was dancing in the subway station. “Delicate” is the fifth track in the Reputation album!
# Echoes Of Your Footsteps
The hidden lyrics “echoes of your footsteps” can be seen in the background when she was dancing in the rain.
# Joe’s Deli
The business signboard on the left of the video reads “Joe’s Deli”, a nod to her boyfriend Joe Alwyn. Plus, “deli” might be short for “Delicate”.
# Bonus: Note’s Meaning
Some fans are saying that the note featured in the music video symbolises her “Reputation”. When she’s holding it, everyone notices her, and when she’s not, she turns invisible.
