What would you do if you found a rogue drone?

A rogue drone was found near the Special Branch complex in Bukit Aman last Wednesday (19 September) at 8.30am by an employee of the canteen at the Commander’s Camp Transport Branch.

The canteen employee informed a police officer on duty at the Transport Branch before a report was made to the Dang Wangi District Police.

Based on a report by Harian Metro, the drone was found in the canteen yard of Bukit Aman, nearby the Special Branch complex. Currently, the matter is being investigated to determine the owner of the drone.

There are only two possibilities really–either the drone belongs to a police officer or an outside person who brought it into the Bukit Aman premises.

Dang Wangi District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Shaharuddin Abdullah told Harian Metro that the investigation into the owner of the drone and how the drone got into Bukit Aman is currently ongoing. He added that the case is being investigated under Section 143 (1) of the Civil Aviation Regulations 2016.

So… anyone lost a drone?
