If you’re a Tim Burton fan you would know that his movies are often weird and spooky in some way. And one of his most well-known movies is definitely The Nightmare Before Christmas!

Disney is reportedly considering turning the animated movie into a live-action movie!

This comes as a source claimed that the studio is in talks to “do something with Nightmare Before Christmas — probably a sequel but live-action possible.”

However, Tim Burton himself had previously voiced out his disapproval for a sequel to the movie way back in 2006, saying:

“I was always very protective of [Nightmare], not to do sequels or things of that kind. You know, ‘Jack visits Thanksgiving world’ or other kinds of things, just because I felt the movie had a purity to it and the people that like it,”

The Nightmare Before Christmas follows the story of a Pumpkin King named Jack Skellington, who is bored of routinely scaring people in the real world and decided to bring Christmas back to his home after he discovers Christmas Town.

The movie was a big success after its release, and was even made and featured in video games like Oogie’s Revenge and Kingdom Hearts.
