The studio recently announced that the new animated series will be making its way to us in 2020!
From the looks of the teaser trailer, it already looks like we’ll be kept on the edge of our seats!
Entertainment Weekly reported that the animated series will take place after the events of 2015’s Jurassic World.
Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous will follow a group of adventurous teenagers who have been left behind on Isla Nublar, that’s filled with escaped dinosaurs.
The group are forced to come together while stranded at an adventure camp on the other side of the island as they become the prey of deadly creatures.
Steven Spielberg will be on board as an executive producer alongside Jurassic World director, Colin Trevorrow, who will also be an executive producer on the upcoming animated series.
Fans are excited for a continuation of the beloved franchise and can’t wait to see what the animated series will bring.
