We’ve seen durian prepared many ways before – durian crepes and durian ice cream, to name two – but have you seen durian hotpot before?

Spotted in Guangzhou, China, the dish is just like any other hotpot, with chicken meat simmering in a broth. What makes it unique, though, is the durian, which gives the broth a pale yellow colour, and no doubt adds its flavour and smell to the dish.
