Stories on flights have been going viral recently, with a guy finding the love of his life after a turbulence on flight, this time everyone on this specific flight have a story to tell too!
The passengers on a flight to San Diego, where the Comic-Con was held in, recently got a surprise after everyone on board were given a free Nintendo Switch. YES, free!
The American airline, Southwest Airlines recently partnered with Nintendo and gave out free vouchers to their clueless passengers to redeem a complimentary Nintendo Switch along with the new Super Mario Maker 2 game!
Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing said, “with the help of Southwest, we brought smiles to an entire plane full of people.”
“We hope that spirit of fun lasts for a long time, as now everyone on the flight has a Nintendo Switch system and Super Mario Maker 2 to play at home or on their future travels.”
The passengers also got snacks from the cabin crews that wore Mario hats on the Nintendo-themed flight and Mario himself also greeted the passengers before they boarded the plane!
How we wish we were on that plane, or perhaps Nintendo could make it happen in Malaysia too! But either way, if you can’t afford a Nintendo Switch, you can always opt for the cheaper model, Nintendo Switch Lite, that’s coming on the 20th of September!
Have you ever had a life-changing experience on a flight before? Tell us!
