We have some good news for those with outstanding traffic summonses!
In conjunction with Hari Bersama Pelanggan Jabatan Siasatan Dan Penguatkuasaan Trafik (JSPT) Kuala Lumpur, the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) has announced that they are offering a 50% discount on traffic summons!

That said, you’ll only have two days—today (7 Nov) and tomorrow—to enjoy the discount. For those who would like to have the discount applied to their payments, visit the Traffic Police Station on Jalan Tun HS Lee, KL or TMpoint Bukit Raja, Jalan Meru Klang between 8.30am and 4.30pm to settle your summonses.

Do keep in mind that while the discount will apply to most compound tickets, the summons mentioned below will not have a discount:
- Accident summons for the current year
- NC (non-compoundable) summons
- Warrant summons for the current year
- Current year summons issued during Ops Selamat
- Court summons
- Lorry-related summons
Before you make your way over though, it’s advisable to do a quick check on your summons to make sure they’re eligible for the discount. For more information on how to do that, visit their website.
