We may be in the final month of a very challenging year but it looks like 2020 is not done with us yet.
Earlier today, we were hit with bad news that they highly anticipated Lizzie McGuire revival series, has been cancelled.

Hilary Duff who played the iconic titular role took to social media to announce that hopes to see more of Lizzie’s world has been dashed.
“I know the efforts and conversations have been everywhere trying to make a reboot work but, sadly & despite everyone’s best efforts, it isn’t going to happen,” the actress wrote.
Fans have been waiting for the revival series every since it was announced a year and a half ago. While production did begin, it was put to a halt when original series creator Terri Minsky left over creative differences at the beginning of this year.

“I’ve been so honoured to have the character of Lizzie in my life,” Hilary shared. “She has made such a lasting impact on many, including myself. To see the fans’ loyalty and love for her, to this day, means so much to me.”
“I want any reboot of Lizzie to be honest and authentic to who Lizzie would be today,” she explained. “It’s what the character deserves.”
“We can all take a moment to mourn the amazing woman she would have been and the adventures we would have taken with her,” the actress added. “I’m very sad, but I promise everyone tried their best and the stars just didn’t align.”
Since the sad announcement, fans have been mourning the loss of what could have been for Lizzie McGuire, her family and her friends.
This is definitely NOT what dreams are made off.
