The night has gathered and our watch of the final season of Game of Thrones has begun.

With the first episode of season eight premiering just a couple of days ago, fans were excited to see the many long-awaited reunions that were promised.

But one very notable character was missing from the episode and fans were not happy.

If you haven’t watched the first episode of the season, we suggest you look away before you see any spoilers.

By the time you get to the end of the episode, you’re probably thinking that you’ve seen everyone from the past seven seasons that’s still alive. But there’s definitely someone missing.

Ghost.

Jon Snow’s beloved direwolf seems to be missing throughout the first episode and it’s totally not okay!

As Ghost was missing from most of season six and all of season seven, we were promised a lot more direwolf in this season. So far, one episode has passed and no sign of Ghost was seen.

While the focus was on Jon’s first magnificent ride on Rhaegal, fans who were eagerly waiting to see just a glimpse of snowy-white fur; were deeply disappointed.

They took to the Twitterverse to vent their frustrations and ask the most important question, #WhereIsGhost?!

So, Game of Thrones producers, WHERE IS GHOST?! We really hope he finally makes an appearance in the next episode so that he and Jon can have the reunion we’ve been dying for.
