Many of us have talked about having a healthy work-life balance but often find it difficult to maintain one.
Finland however is actually planning to do something about that.

Recent reports have noted that Finland’s new Prime Minister Sanna Marin, has called for the introduction of a flexible working schedule in the country.
This flexible working schedule involves a four-day-week and six-hour working day, and it sounds almost too good to be true.
According to the Prime Minister, the flexible work schedule would allow workers to spend more time with their families.

“I believe people deserve to spend more time with their families, loved ones, hobbies and other aspects of life, such as culture,” she said. “This could be the next step for us in working life.”
Currently in Finland, people work eight hours a day, five days per week.

In Sweden, a six-hour work-day was tested in 2015, and the results showed that employees were happier, wealthier and more productive.
When can we move to Finland already? Or maybe the same flexible work schedule could be introduced in Malaysia too? *hint hint* We’re all for it!
What are your thoughts on a four-day week with six-hour work days? Let us know!
