Our watch is ending as Game of Thrones’ final episode ever draws nearer and nearer.

With only one episode left, tension is definitely running high and our anxiety is building with thoughts of what’s to come.
Previously, the showrunners announced that a special t documentary will air right after the final episode ends. The documentary, aptly titled Game of Thrones: The Last Watch will take fans behind-the-scenes on the production of the show’s biggest season ever.
HBO states that the documentary special will delve “deep into the mud and blood to reveal the tears and triumphs involved in the challenge of bringing the fantasy world of Westeros to life in the very real studios, fields and car-parks of Northern Ireland… Much more than a ‘making of’ documentary, this is a funny, heartbreaking story, told with wit and intimacy, about the bittersweet pleasures of what it means to create a world – and then have to say goodbye to it.”
For fans who’ve are still in denial over the ending of GoT, the documentary is set to bring tears to our eyes. Just like it did to Kit Harington aka Jon Snow.
As co-showrunner, D.B. Weiss, says in the beginning of the trailer, “This is strange. Here we are at the last table read – it’s like looking around and seeing your family.” Cue tears.
Just from the documentary’s trailer and Kit’s reaction to the final table read, we can expect great things from the last piece of Game of Thrones. Will you be watching the documentary too or giving it a pass?
