The National Registration Department (NRD) will now be issuing MyKads in 45 minutes to an hour through its JPN Mobile Bus service. Wow!

After flagging off the 2018 JPN Day Mobile Expedition in Putrajaya today, NRD director-general Datuk Mohamad Razin Abdullah told Kosmo that the pioneer service would enable clients to apply for their MyKad at the bus, have it printed and handed over directly. How convenient!

Previously, the service which began in July, could only receive the applications. Clients then had to collect their ready MyKads at JPN branches five days after the application.
Datuk Mohamad Razin added that the purpose of the service was to improve the department’s delivery service for the public, in line with the department’s slogan “JPN with people at heart”.
