Ashwini, 11, from Belthangady, India, complained to her parents about feeling something in her eyes. After looking around a bit, they found an ant below her eyelid.

They assumed the insect might have landed in Ashwini’s eye while she was sleeping. But strangely, the ants kept popping up. So, they went to a doctor.
The doctor told them that the ants probably got in there through her ears. Meaning, they didn’t crawl in through her eyes. Nope! They got in from behind her eyes! They were in her eye sockets BEHIND HER EYEBALLS!
The doctor prescribed some eyedrops to bring down the inflammation in Ashwini’s eyes. Yet, despite the medication, 5 to 6 ants continued to appear in her eyes daily. In the last 10 days, as many as 60 dead ants have surfaced from her eyes.

We don’t even WANT to imagine what’s going on behind her eyes, guys.
Ashwini has since been taken to an eye hospital in Moodabidri, but her case has yet to be solved.
