The whole nation and world were shocked seven years ago when they learnt that that flight MH370 had mysteriously disappeared.

It failed to be contacted less than an hour after departing from KLIA at 12.41 am, bringing together 227 passengers and 12 crew while on a flight to Beijing. An hour after the time the aircraft should have landed in China's capital at 6.30 am Malaysian time, Malaysia Airlines declared the aircraft was lost.

The aircraft did not show any incident, no emergency signal, bad weather or technical issues before it went missing. On March 24, the Prime Minister declared that the aircraft was lost around the Indian Ocean with no survivors.

Throughout 2015 and 2016, several discoveries of aircraft body fragments were found off the west coast of the Indian Ocean, but none of them were confirmed to be from the missing aircraft.

With many studies, discoveries and theories over the years, none of them can answer the mystery of #MH370’s disappearance until today.

Seven years later, many family and friends of the passengers onboard the MH370 are still hoping for a miracle but have yet to get closure.
