Gym lovers, it’s time. Well, almost.
According to recent reports, gym centers and sports halls are set to be reopened on 15th June!

Since the Recovery Movement Control Order was announced, many gym and sports lovers have been eagerly waiting for news that their favourite place to be would be reopened as well.
The RMCO, which is set to take place from 10th June to 31st August, will see many sectors reopening but they must adhere to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Now, the Ministry of Health and the Majlis Keselamatan Negara have announced that gym centers and indoor sports halls such as badminton courts and sports complexes, will be allowed to reopen its doors to the public beginning 15th June.
Managers will have to fill in a form on the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) website so that their reopening may be supervised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Managers must follow strict SOPs before reopening their doors to ensure that the premises are safe for users.
Unfortunately, swimming pools and close-contact sports like football, basketball, rugby, wrestling, boxing and hockey; are still prohibited under the RMCO.

So gym and indoor sports lovers, get you bags packed and mark down 15th June on your calendars to sweat it all out!
