If you’re not a High School Musical fan, then you probably know someone who is. Either way someone is going to be excited because the popular series is coming back!
The new High School Musical (HSM) TV show will be titled High School Musical: The Musical and will be focusing on the story of Rick trying to win his ex-girlfriend’s heart by starring in his school’s production of High School Musical.
Yes it sounds complicated but technically this show is going to have many layers – it’s High School Musical in a high school musical. Geddit?
And if you’re wondering who will be playing this version’s “Troy Bolton”, your answer is Joshua Bassett!
Joshua has been casted to play the main character Rick and the series will have 10 episodes in total, shot in documentary style.
Currently, the rest of cast is unknown, but we are promised to have a classic HSM song and a new original song in each episode. Nostalgic and fresh!
