This Incredible Boy Sat For SPM and IB At The Same Time… And Aced Them Both!

Yesterday, Instagram user @anisaqilahmka posted a photo of her friend, Ihsan Thaqif.

 

Meet this boy from another planet, @ihsanthaqif. Currently studying at kmb (kolej mara banting) What's so special about him that urged me to post this? Sit back and get ready for an amazing short story. he's 18, 17 when he first entered kmb, on July 2017 as a MARA scholar. MRSM Parit must be really proud for having him before us. So the thing is, eventho he already got a place in college, he still needs to sit for SPM. And the SPM's examination ends a day before our semester examination begin. 😨 Note that he had to go to class, live like a college students, learn all the IB stuffs. So for spm, he and few other igcse students need to steal times for revision, eg; study on weekends. In simpler words, he had to study two different syllabus at one time. 9 subjects for spm and 7 subjects for IB (semester exam). 😯 But guess what did he got for both examination? 9A+,i repeat, 9A+ 😭 for SPM (highlighted) and received the honor roll award for semester exam. Exactly, is he really a human? makan apa weh pandai sgt ni? :') well, on a serious note, he deserves it. Hard work paid off. Ihsan, 18, was enrolled into an International Baccalaureate (IB) course—a highly demanding international education foundation course—before sitting for his SPM.

How did he become eligible for an IB course before SPM, you wonder? Well, he sat for IGCSE’s and aced the exam so well that Kolej MARA Banting agreed to let him start his pre-university course BEFORE he even graduated high school! However, MARA still encouraged him to sit for his SPM exams anyway as a back-up plan.

Coincidentally, his semester exam for IB started the day after his SPM exams ended. This meant that Ihsan had to attend his college classes, study for his IB semester exams AND study for SPM at the same time. That’s 17 subjects in total, split between two different syllabus! And as if that wasn’t incredible enough, he managed to score 9A1’s for his SPM exams AND received the Honour Roll Award for his IB semester exam.

To top it all off, Ihsan is also known for being an all-rounder, humble and overall nice guy!

I hope everyone knows that ihsan thaqif isn’t just abt brains and grades, he is more. He’s got the perfect manners, all mak cik ds mrsm parit like him as after supper each night he would help them clean the ds. He couldn’t see any female in need, he’s a superhero

i met him during mrsm drama competition and he won best actor too!! like super gooooood actor everyone from my mrsm were so amazed!!! At this point idk what can he not do and excel in this life :,-)

So i conclude here he is an excellent scorer of igcse, spm straight A+, honor roll first sem IB at KMB, play basketball, public speaking, knows japanese, baik budi (tolong makcik ds kemas after supper,), won best actor in english drma competition
