Now, an Indonesian fisherman has added to the strange ocean discoveries list by coming across a baby shark with a “human face”.

Recently in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, Abdullah Nuren has been making headlines with his odd finding.
According to the 48-year-old fisherman, he had caught a pregnant adult shark during his fishing activities and while cutting up its belly, he found three shark pups inside.
Speaking to reporters he shared that two of the pups appeared normal, but the third had a deformity the made it look like the shark had a human face.
The shark had two large eyes that sat above a gaping mouth which made it look like it was in shock or surprised.

“I was surprised because I have gone around fishing, even almost crossing Australian waters, but I have never found a shark looking like this,” Abdullah said.
According to Dr David Shiffman, a research scientist at the Marine Stewardship Council, the shark’s unique look was due to a birth defect.
“This is not a thing I study, but some experts I follow are reporting it may be a case of partile Cyclopia (do not Google this while eating) with one fused orbit but still two eyes,” he said.

Abdullah has decided to preserve the unusual creature and many curious individuals have been making their way to the fisherman’s home in hopes to catch a glimpse of it.
“My home has been crowded with people who want to see the shark,” he said. “Many people want to buy it, but I will preserve it instead. I think it will bring me good luck.”

Many people have compared the unique creature to Baby Shark and we can see the similarity too!
This is definitely an interesting discovery but we gotta admit, it’s a little creep too…
