The threat of climate change is very real and while we do what we can to help reduce our carbon footprint, there are those who go above and beyond.
Recycling is not only necessary in today’s world, it can also be very fashionable as one Indonesian woman has proved.

Putri Samboda has been gaining a lot of attention with her unique fashion pieces that are not only stylish but also good for the planet.
Previously, she made waves with her recycled pieces such as a skirt made from old rice packages and a pair of kitten heels made with old White Rabbit candy wrappers.
Now, Putri is back at it again with a super stylish bomber jacket that’s made up of old mi goreng packets!
The best part? It’s colourful, reversible and waterproof!
The Indonesian upcycler has long been teaching herself to create these bold and elegant fashion pieces.
Unfortunately, Putri’s amazing creations are not for sale, though we sure hope they were – especially that mi goreng jacket!

We can’t wait to see what else Putri will create through her upcycling efforts!
Would you get yourself a mi goreng jacket like this if you could? Know someone who would? Let us know!
