Although we didn't see much of him on the grand scale of the Game of Thrones series, Sean Bean sure made his mark as the Stark family head, Ned Stark.

With the end of GoT drawing closer, many are looking towards the prequel that's currently being developed by HBO to get their fix. The prequel is due to begin shooting sometime next year.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sean was asked if he'd consider being in the prequel and revisiting his Ned Stark character. "I don't know how we can be. I don't know how anyone can be, since they're going backwards, I'd be younger. Now, we all look a little bit older," he said.

But that's what CGI is for right? Sean appears to have doubts over whether taking on the character would actually be a good move.
"It depends on how far they go back. I'm always reluctant to go back to shows under a different format or guise. But you never know with something like this, it just depend on the time frames. I think if the quality was maintained. You know, the kind of thought behind it, if it didn't look as though it was an add-on just to capitalise on earlier success."

Although there isn't much information about the Game of Thrones prequel at the moment, there are thought to be five spin-offs in the works right now at HBO!
