Ask any Malaysian what their favourite thing is and without a doubt, they’d say free stuff! Second favourite? Discounts lah, of course!
And we have good news for all Malaysians! For this whole month, the Road Transport Department (JPJ) is offering a 70% discount on all your summon payments!
70% OK! That’s a lot!
The discount comes in conjunction with the department’s 72nd anniversary and it’s historic! The department has never offered such a high discount for summonses since it was established.
Before you get too excited though, we have an important side note. There are 5 offences that the discount cannot be applied to. They are: offences committed under the Automates Awareness Safety System (AwAS); offences under the Automatic Enforcement System (AES); overloading of vehicles over 5 tonnes; court summonses; and summonses and compounds involving foreigners.
Now, hurry to a JPJ near you and pay all your summonses before the offer ends on 2 May 2018!
