When a disaster strikes, it’s only natural that your first instinct is to save yourself and your loved ones around you, but sometimes, you may not be able to get to all your loved ones. Especially your pets.
One company however is helping dogs everywhere with their own specially designed rescue kits that will help your pup with survival supplies until they are safe.

Japan is known for the occasional earthquake and many pets tend to go missing or get stranded during these disasters.
With that in mind, Japanese company Pet Memorial Shop has designed “Evacuation Life Bags” for dogs that are made with fireproof and waterproof polyurethane and polyester that’s meant to be secured across and under your pup’s chest for a secure fit.
The bag even comes with a strap on the top so that the dog can be lifted up to safety or to keep it from running away.

Included in the bag is a pair of rubber gloves, bandages, and a muzzle in case whoever finds your pet needs to administer any emergency first-aid without a veterinarian around.
There are also two large pockets that you can fill with food, water and other essentials your dog may need in an emergency.
You can even put in your dog’s name and contact information in a special slot on the bag in case you get separated.

The Evacuation Life Bags come in two sizes, one for small or medium sized breeds that costs 13,000 yen (RM490), and one for large sized breeds for 15,000 yen (RM565).
The small/medium bad is more suitable for pups from toy poodles to beagles.
It may seem a little pricey but considering its life-saving capabilities, it’s definitely a good investment for your beloved pet.
