Everyone defines a bad date differently and this Japanese girl decided to share hers too… except she got slammed by the internet!

She shared her story on an internet forum popular for horror dating experiences with the title, “is it ok to wear cheap fashion on your first date or not?”

Apparently she went on a first date with a man to a café and offered to hang the man’s coat on a hook on the wall. While she was doing that she checked the tags of his coat and realized it was from H&M and his overshirt was from Uniqlo.

Wow, true horror story (we’re being sarcastic).

She continued by expressing her disappointment on his “cheap fashion”, saying that it’s too casual for a first date and that his shoes “looked like cheap leather ones.”

She ended it by saying that she was happy that he gave her the sofa seat and asked, “how would you feel going on a first date with someone who put together a whole outfit of cheap stuff? It’s no good, right?”

The internet immediately criticized her, with one saying, “I can’t stand people who only care about top brands” and another asking, “who are you to judge, exactly?”

Other users commented, “if it suits them, I don’t really care at all” and “I don’t like people who check other people’s brands that thoroughly”.

The most savage comment goes to this guy asking “what, are you dressed head-to-toe in Chanel?”

Well however it is, it’s definitely not nice judging other’s outfit choices. What are your thoughts on it?
