It appears that Taiwanese Star and King of Mandopop, Jay Chou, is in Malaysia right now! The star uploaded an Instagram post of himself in a shopping mall recently, with the caption “Friends in Malaysia, do you know where this mall is? #malaysia #johorbahru”
And several lucky fans did infact manage to spot of him on the weekdays at Komtar JBCC and Aeon Mall Tebrau City. So lucky!
According to The Star, Jay Chou is in Johor because he’s accompanying his wife, actress Hannah Quinlivan, who has been filming a movie at Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia studio.
Despite being celebrities, the couple really got into the Malaysian food culture since they’ve been here. Hannah posted a photo on Instagram indicating that they tried some roti tissue at a mamak in Johor. So lepak, right?
Jay also posted an adorable photo of himself enjoying some dim sum and drinking what looks like teh o’ ais ikat tepi at a kopitiam!
Besides being the biggest mandopop star, it appears that Jay Chou is also a really sweet husband! Last week, he posted a photo of himself and his friend enjoying some bubble tea. Hannah commented on the post saying that she wanted a cup too.
Later that evening, she posted this instastory!

Yep, you guessed it. Jay delivered a big cup of bubble tea to Hannah on set! Aww, this couple is so sweet they’re gonna give us diabetes.
BTW, today (18 Oct) is Hannah’s last day filming in Malaysia, so they’ll probably be leaving our country soon. Those in JB, make sure you catch a glimpse of them before they leave!
