The actor first took to Facebook with an invitation to “musicians, singers, rappers, and artists of all kinds to help create a song inspired by my upcoming movie, Project Power.”
According to the actor, the aim of this project is to collaborate on a song together with people from all over the world for the movie that puts forth the question, “What is your power?”
Rappers, singers, musicians and artists are asked to submit their “very best to add to our song.”
A few hours later, Joseph once again took to Facebook to invite writers but this time he posed a challenge to them asking Malaysian writers to “write one line about what this astronaut is thinking,” with a picture attached.
Writers are even invited to write in either English or Bahasa Malaysia!
“What would you risk for five minutes of pure power?” Project Power’s description reads.
“On the streets of New Orleans, word begins to spread about a mysterious new pill that unloacks superpowers unique to each user. The catch: You don’t know what will happen until you take it. While some develop bulletproof skin, invisibility, and super strength, others exhibit a deadlier reaction.”
As this superpower pill escalates crime within the city, a local cop, a teenager and a former soldier must team up “to fight power with power and risk taking the pill in order to track down and stop the group responsible for creating it.”
