After months of hearing about Malaysia’s first ever flying car, the time for putting the theory into practice is finally here.
According to Entrepreneur Development Minister Redzuan Yusof, Malaysia’s flying car is ready to be taken on a test ride and he has invited opposition MPs to witness the air mobility platform in action.

Speaking at the recent Dewan Rakyat he said, “I want to repeat my invitation to the respected MPs. This Thursday (21st November), I myself will be riding the flying vehicle or two-man vehicle.”
However, the minister noted that the test ride is not open to media coverage or public viewing.
“It is on private invitation by the private company to test the aerial vehicle,” he said. “This in an initiative by the young people who want to use the innovation to help create the industry for others to follow.”
“So I don’t think I can disclose where it will be, because it’s a close invitation demanded by the company,” he added.

However, before you get too excited, the minister noted that production on the national flying car has not yet been finalized as several issues need to be settled beforehand, especially on air space.
“We are still debating on air space, on how it is resolved,” he said.
