If there’s one thing we’re sure of, it’s that Malaysia’s definitely got talent!
Our very own NAMA and Yaashwin Sarawanan aka the Human Calculator have made their way into Asia’s Got Talent’s season 3 finals!

The female vocal group were unanimously selected by the three judges – David Foster, Anggun and Jay Park; as one of the “Judges Pick” and were sent directly into the final round.
NAMA member, Nur Fazrina, talked about reaching the finals saying, “We didn’t expect it but we aimed for it.”
The group of four, who met during an arts festival, is made up of Nur Fazrina, Noor Syamimi Makhetar, Norfazira Malik and Nur Farahida Dolhadi.
Syamimi said, “Our biggest challenge going into the finals is that we are not only competing with singers but we are also competing with other acts that are unique and appealing.”
So what can we expect from NAMA in the finals?
Nur Fazrina teased, “What we can promise is the performance will be meaningful and different from what we have done during the earlier rounds in terms of song choice, what we are going to wear and our vibes.”
While not being picked as one of the judges’ choices to be sent straight to the finals, Yaashwin instead won the hearts and votes of the public!
The 15-year-old was shocked to have made it into the final round but was ever grateful for all the love and support he received.
“I was super-shocked and speechless when I got to know that I would be performing at the grand final,” he said. “This is a golden opportunity. I want to thank all my supporters, especially my fellow Malaysians who have been voting for me. I want to make my country proud.”
Yaashwhin’s unbelievable math skills and his ability to solve mathematical problems in under a second earned him the name ‘Human Calculator.’
At a recent press conference, he remained tight lipped about his upcoming performance at the finals.
“Of course the concept will be something different from what I did at the audition and semi-finals,” he said. “This is a talent competition and the evaluation is very subjective. Playing with numbers is fun and this is what I’m going to offer the audience.”
NAMA and Yaashwin will be up against seven other acts in the final round, which will take place on 4th April at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The final result show will air on 11th Aor
