What’s the longest you’ve held on to a lie?

For one guy, he lied to his wife for a month and it’s not for a reason you may think… He lied about his baldness and kept it a secret from her!

Recently in India, a 27-year-old chartered accountant lodged a complaint against her husband and accused him and his family of cheating her by hiding the fact that he’s actually bald.

The woman filed a case of breach of trust and in her complaint, she shared that she was shocked to learn that her husband of a month was wearing a wig, a fact that had not been revealed to her before their arranged marriage took place.

“The main accused got married to the complainant, a chartered accountant, in September this year,” said Kailash Barve, senior inspector of Naya Nagar police station. “The woman later discovered that he was bald and had been wearing a wig.”

According to the wife, her husband’s family did not reveal this information beforehand and if she had known that he was bald, she wouldn’t have agreed to marry him.

The woman noted that she only found out about his baldness a day after the marriage, and when she contacted her in-laws, they said that it was not a serious matter.

The husband and the in-laws have been booked under IPC sections 406 (breach of trust) and 500 (defamation).

This is definitely a very interesting case…

What do you think? Are you on the wife or husband’s side on this one?
