We won’t lie, we’ve watched Avengers: Endgame a couple of times over since it first came out in 2019, and, we’ve cried each time.

But one man has done the impossible by watching the iconic movie 191 times in attempt to break the Guinness World Record!

Now, if you’re thinking this was an easy enough feat to be done that given that it’s been close to two years since the movie’s original release, it’s important to note that Romiro Atlantis actually achieved his record-breaking goal over 90 days.

If you’re keeping count, on average Romiro was able to catch the movie twice a day while it was still in movie theatres.

The man from Riverview, Florida, shared that he was inspired to break the Guinness World Record for most cinema productions attended of the same movie, after former record-holder, NemReps, watched Avengers: Infinity War 103 times.

Romiro almost doubled that number by going to see Endgame 191 times in cinema in 90 days.

“Movies teach us deep messages about life, culture and society,” the cinephile told Guinness.

He noted that superhero movies in particular teach audiences about “helping people and those in need, which I’m very passionate about.”

“We might not have superpowers but with acts of kindness, we can change someone’s life,” he said.

Watching Endgame 191 times from the movie’s release to 29th July 2019, was by no means an easy task. Romiro had to make many sacrifices to achieve his record-breaking goal.

“The most difficult part about this attempt was giving up my social life with my family, the gym and managing my work hours and screening times at the theaters,” he shared.

After his achievement in 2019, Guinness took some time to process his application and to go over his submitted evidence, which included photos and ticket stubs.

Romiro finally received word this month that he had officially broken the world record to become the titleholder for “Most Cinema Productions Attended”.

“It would be an honour to be there with many other famous title holders, but most importantly it would make all the sacrifices, love and effort I gave to be paid off bringing a big smile on my face,” he said.

Wow. We’re amazed at Romiro’s commitment and happy that he was able to reach his goal!

How many times have you watched Endgame? What’s the movie you’ve watched the most and how many times did you watch it? Let us know!
